Founded in Bengaluru
ICON Design Automation was established as a boutique RF & Microwave design house — one of the first in India to focus exclusively on indigenous MMIC development for defence applications.

First DRDO Design Contract
Secured our first significant DRDO programme — delivering S-Band T/R module MMICs for an airborne radar system. This marked the start of a two-decade relationship with India's premier defence research organisation.

We supply wideband LNAs, GaN power amplifiers, and phase shifter arrays to EW system integrators developing jamming, ELINT, and DRFM-based self-protection systems for the Indian Air Force, Army, and Navy.
